Dulcie Sharpe
Dulcie Sharpe, a keen artist and Arrernte Elder, is the sister of Trudy Inkamala and a member of one the families who worked so hard to establish a school in Alice Springs which would value and teach Aboriginal languages and culture. Dulcie, also a mother and nana, has shared her cultural knowledge with the HAR author Margaret James, on excursions out bush, and is an ongoing cultural advisor to HARs. Dulcie often takes children out on bush trips to teach them more about her traditional culture, so that they can pass that knowledge on to their children one day.
