Kathy Mason – HARs graphic designer

Kathy Mason is a very talented and skilful freelance graphic designer,  who creates the layout for the Honey Ant Readers Books and Resources. Kathy takes delight in putting together Margaret’s clever words and Wendy’s lovely illustrations and creating a book that can change the life of a child.

With three small children of her own, Kathy has a strong interest in education and the process of learning to read and write. Her children love to read the Honey Ant books. They especially love the “Thank you” book, and it is a fun one  for the adult to read.

From her experience Kathy says she has seen that books that children can relate to through the story, and imagery they can recognise from their own experiences, have a deeper impact and engage the child for longer.
