Funny message from a year 3 teacher in the NT

A year 3 teacher sent us this wonderful message!

“I just wanted to share a funny HAR story with you. It was a writing session in the 3/4 class once again, and the students were asked to write sentences using ‘Drowned him, Drowned him’ as a stimulus. The writing session was getting under way when one of the students asked if they could use the HAR book in question, I said ‘sure’. When I later read his sentence I almost died with laughter and I thought you might too, he had written………’the rainbow serpent drowned Margaret James’! The thought of our beloved Nana being drowned by the snake four times is not a laughing matter, but the things these children come up with never ceases to amaze me and sometimes you can’t help but laugh out loud!”
