Great session with students in Alice Springs

Had a great time yesterday at a school in Alice Springs, working with children who are visiting town from other communities . Joe played his guitar and we all sang in Luritja and Pitjantjatjara, before singing the same song in English, which was fun. We played matching card and word games, to get familiar with the words before reading the first HAR in traditional languages and then in Aboriginal English. Bingo followed and we read a short story in Aboriginal English from the ‘Tracks to Two Way Learning’ series, to finish a lovely session with great students.
