HARs enjoy a presentation by Dr Peter Anderson from Monash University
A very impressive presentation, which gives us so much HOPE for a fairer and more respectful education for our Aboriginal and TI kids – was given by Dr Peter Anderson (a Warlpiri/Murinpatha man and highly respected Indigenous education expert) and Prof Simone White at the Yapaneyepuk conference in Melbourne. They spoke about the ground-breaking work being done at Monash University in addressing the need for pre-service teachers to better prepare for teaching Indigenous students. Congratulations Peter, Zane, Simone and your team – on your Rights-based approach in the development of your fantastic Indigenous education curriculum units. We hope ALL Australian Universities very quickly follow your inspirational lead
