Honey Ant Readers travel to Ghana, Africa!

Recently, the Honey Ant Readers published a new book entitled “Thank you”, designed for learners of English in Ghana. The first book of the series is currently on its way to the 11th Ghana International Book Fair (GIBF), scheduled for 24th – 29th September 2012 at the National Theatre, Accra. The original Honey Ant Readers will also be exhibited at the fair and will remain with the Australian High Commission on display after the event concludes at the end of the month. GIBF showcases the country’s cultural heritage- the literary culture in particular and aims to facilitate discussion within the international publishing industry over fair trade of books, foster dialogue with policymakers to find solutions to enhance the reading culture and provide a platform for exploring the link between literacy and broader national development.

The book “Thank you” was certainly enjoyed by Australian readers in Alice Springs, as can be seen in the photos below, and we hope that learners across the Indian Ocean will find similar joy in the book!
