My Kite in the Orphanage Centre of Future Light, Cambodia

Marg’s little group of high achieving 14 year olds finding answers to a comprehension exercise in ‘My Kite’. The boys live in The Orphanage Centre of Future Light, which was founded by Killing Fields Survivor Nuon Phaly.

The Future Light Orphanage cares for about 200 children, offering them a beautiful home in dormitories of about 8 bunk beds, an outdoor eating area, drama/dance centre and fabulous classrooms, computer lab and library for when they aren’t at school. Their day starts at 5am and ends at 9pm!
