Story 2
“S and the other preschool students in the same group were having trouble focusing one afternoon after lunch on the book ‘Thank You’. Their Honey Ant Reader tutor decided to have them stand up and jump whenever the phrase “thank you” was said during the story. The students enjoyed connecting a motion to the story, and also needed to burn off some energy. Later that afternoon one little girl, S, picked up the book and read it herself, punctuating the “thank you” phrases with an enthusiastic “Jump! Jump! Jump!”
