Western Arrernte author Louise Raggett: ‘That’s a Goanna!’

‘That’s a goanna!’ We would like to pay our respects to one of the most wonderful Elders we have had the privilege of spending many hours in conversation with, over several years. She told stories galore, and wrote many books for children, based in THEIR traditional culture, written in THEIR language. We thank her for all she taught us, for her happy outlook on life, but above all for the example she set as a true leader. Working together towards common goals for the children.
